IPC2U präsentiert einen neuen lüfterlosen Vehikel PC - VTC 6000 - auf Basis einer Intel Atom Platform. Geringerer Stromverbrauch und erweiterter Betriebstemperatur-Bereich, stellen den VTC 6000 über sonstige bisher bekannte Vehikel PCs.

Der VTC 6000 ist ein Vehikel Computer der durch seine Konstruktion in Autos, LKWs oder auch im Marine-Bereich eingesetzt werden kann. Bei dem Aufbau des VTC 6000 wurde Wert darauf gelegt, das er als vollwertiges System in geplante oder bestehende Anwendungen eingebaut werden kann. Dank des sehr niedrigen Stromverbrauch des Intel ATOM Prozessors und der Erweiterung der Betriebstemperatur ist der VTC 6000 kompakter denn je. Der VTC6000 erfüllt sämtliche Industristandards, sowie die eMark Zulassungs-Richtlinie. Weitere Eigenschaften wie z.B. power ignition delay control, low-power protection und SMBus connection, etc. sind von anderen Vehikle PCs übernommen. Optionales 802.11b/g/n und 3.5G erweitert den Einsatzbereich des VTC 6000 und gibt Ihm eine Grundlage für zukünftige Trends. Dank seiner vielen Anschlußmöglichkeiten, wäre ein weiterer möglicher Einsatzbereich des VTC6000 als Platform für Digital Signage Anwendungen.
